My Discovery Lab has been created by Nichola Fisher, a fully qualified Science teacher and the founder of Rock it Science. Rock it Science was established in 2016 and hosts science-themed birthday parties (www.rockitscienceparties.com), educational workshops, and shows.
Nichola is no stranger to innovation and has been awarded a top entrepreneurial prize ‘Business Women of Tomorrow’ in 2016 on setting up her first company. Her efforts haven't gone unnoticed and she has recently won the award of ‘Best Creative Fun’ by Kidzapp UAE!

All our activities are fun and most importantly safe, plus they tie into the school curriculum. We incorporate the principles of STEAM learning (using Science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) which help to encourage exploration, promote creativity, and boost your child’s problem-solving abilities. Whilst Science is the focus of My Discovery Lab, children are also developing a number of other important skills that are integral to their overall education.”

Rock it Science was established in 2016 and hosts science-themed birthday parties (www.rockitscienceparties.com), educational workshops, and shows. It also provides inspiring teacher training workshops (www.rockitscienceeducation.com) focusing on STEAM and has signed up to be STEAM CPD providers for BSME.
Meet Our Founder
As a secondary Science teacher and mum of three boys, I know how hard it can be to inspire and engage young children. I also understand what it takes to keep them occupied in a productive way. I’m passionate about getting children excited about science from an early age and, after seeing the success of hands-on learning with Rock it Science, I have created My Discovery Lab for you to share at home.
