How to participate in this Contest:
Upload a picture of your child doing the experiment along with the My Discovery Lab box, and fill in the form.
Submission Criteria:
- Photo Size & Format: Each participant can submit only 1 good quality photo of their child doing the experiment along with My Discovery Lab box. The maximum image size for entering the contest is 1Mb in .jpg .png .gif format. If any image is not of reasonable quality, it will not be considered for judgment.
- Editing Images: Images can be edited to optimize the photograph. Aspects such as cropping, brightness, contrast, and color balance are allowed. You can use any post processing technique you like (including HDR and panorama stitching) as long as no elements are added or subtracted from the original file(s). Both cropping and altering a fundamental detail in the image is forbidden.
- Watermark: Any visible watermark on the photographs is not permissible. Winning images will be scrutinized for major changes and a copy of the out-of-the-camera file might be asked at any stage of the competition.
- Only one entry per email id
- Eligibility: By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees that his or her entry complies with all requirements set out in the rules of the contest. An image that has already been published or has won another contest can be submitted as long as this is allowed by the other contest/publisher.
Judgment Process:
The approved images will be primarily judged based on the number of votes (on the photo)
Liability:
Content of all images submitted is the responsibility of each entrant. By submitting images each entrant assures that all images are their original works and no copyright and/or trademark infringement rights have been violated. It is not the responsibility of My Discovery Lab, Dubai to obtain model and/or property release forms or to assure/examine protection of trademark infringement rights.
Winners Announcement:
Winners will be announced on our Facebook page.
Before declaring the winner, the short-listed candidates shall be contacted and asked to send us a selfie with their child doing the experiment to avoid any kind of malpractices.
Copyright:
My Discovery Lab reserves the right to free reproduction of entered images in all media, but only in connection with this contest. The copyright will, at all times, be respected by My Discovery Lab and retained by the photographer.
Changes to Rules:
My Discovery Lab reserves the right to make modifications to the rules for the photo contest. Changes made to the competition will be updated on our FB page.
