About the authors

Nichola Fisher is a science teacher and mum of three who loves seeing children amazed when they discover something new. Her passion for the subject led Nichola to create Rock it Science offering science birthday parties and science-themed events in the United Arab Emirates. She then developed the My Discovery Lab at-home laboratory boxes as an evolution of that concept.

Samantha Armstrong is a PR consultant and copywriter whose love of books started at an early age when she spent hours writing sequels to her favourite childhood stories. After studying English Literature at Leeds University, Samantha worked in PR agencies in the UK and the United Arab Emirates, before founding The PR Company in Dubai, where she lives with her husband and son. Samantha is a strong believer in using the power of storytelling to develop children’s imagination and understanding.
